RANKING THE 5 BIGGEST SPOTIFY COMPETITORS

Spotify is a digital music streaming company. It offers consumers access to music and podcasts as well as the ability to create your own playlist.

With close to 190 million subscribers and 365 million active users, it remains the world’s largest pure-play music streaming platform.

In 2021, Spotify generated around $9.66 billion in revenue. However, the firm continues to burn through cash and is yet to make a profit.

There are now dozens of services trying to grab a bigger slice of the $30 billion music streaming market.

Apple Music, with 49.5 million subscribers, is the leading streaming platform in the U.S., followed closely by the 47.7 million that Spotify has.
